Third Stakes Winner For Indian Charlie

February 21, 2004, Aqueduct Park, $81,825 Best Turn Stakes, 6 f.

REDSKIN WARRIOR, 2004 Triple Crown nominee, came back off a three month lay off in good form. He had broken his maiden by 3 1/4 lengths at Belmont in October, then put on an impressive display in Aqueduct Allowance company at the end of the month winning by 4 3/4 lengths only to be pulled up immediately and vanned off.

In the Best Turn Stakes, REDSKIN WARRIOR stayed to the outside, and when Migliore asked in the turn, the colt soared to win by five-lengths and stop the clock in 1:09.4 which was the fastest 6 furlongs of the meet.

Owned by Paraneck Stables and trained by Jennifer Pederson, the colt may start next in the Gotham S. (G2) on March 20th. This is REDSKIN WARRIOR’s third straight victory and brings his lifetime record to 4-3-0-1 with earnings of $109,245.
