Theperfectvow won her third straight and second lifetime stakes on Saturday at Prairie Meadows with a front-running score in the $103,500 Iowa Breeders’ Oaks (VIDEO).
The 3-year-old Majesticperfection filly won the Iowa Sorority S. last year and is now 5-0-0 in seven starts, with earnings of $198,111 for owner River Ridge Ranch LLC.
The winner is one of Majesticperfection’s nine stakes horses in 2017. His largest two crops to date are 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds this year.
Coming out of the gate very alertly in the 1 mile and 70 yard contest, Theperfectvow was up by a length after a half-mile in a comfortable :47.05 and widened her margin the rest of the trip to finish the distance in 1:41.88 on a fast track.
The winner was bred by H. Allen Poindexter.
