TARLOW wows the crowd in the $300,000 Santa Margarita Invitational H. (G1) at Santa Anita with BACK TO BACK GRADED STAKES WINS!

TARLOW, the spitting image of her sire, showed that she inherited his gameness in her gritty performance in the $300,000 Grade 1 Santa Margarita Hcp.  She was dismissed as the fifth choice against tough company, including Miss Loren and AP Adventure.   Breaking from the far outside she excited critics everywhere repeating a front running performance and scoring back to back graded stakes victories at 1 1/8 miles.

Tarlow veered out sharply at the break but sped around horses to reach the front and settled under a tight hold along the backstretch.  She maintained her length lead into the stretch and stubbornly  kicked on while being pushed by Dream of Summer from the outside to be clear by a nose at the wire.
Congratulations to the owners, Mr. and Mrs. J. Moss and to the trainer, J.A. Shirreffs!
