SUMMER SIZZLE: THE AIRDRIE STALLIONS STAY HOT IN THE YEARLING AUCTION RING

The Airdrie stallions and the breeders that have supported them have enjoyed a huge yearling sales season thus far in 2014.  With the Fasig-Tipton July and Saratoga sales behind us, the young Airdrie duo of Haynesfield and Majesticperfection have both deftly demonstrated their commercial appeal while our stalwart Include continues to churn out top notch individuals.  Here are the stats for the impressive threesome:

Haynesfield: The leading freshman weanling sire of 2013 by return on investment has started off his first-crop yearling sales with the same success.  From a stud fee of $10,000, his first-crop yearlings have averaged $91,000 with a hugely impressive median of $98,000.

Majesticperfection:  A Top 5 Freshman sire of 2014 on the racetrack, Majesticperfection is quickly establishing a reputation of producing exceptional yearlings for the commercial market.  So far, 5 offered- 5 sold, with a monster average of $136,000.

Include: The sire of 5 individual Grade 1 winners also holds a perfect sales record in 2014.  4 offered- 4 sold, with an average of $111,000.

Thank you to all the breeders that have supported these stallions over the years…odds are they’ve repaid you well!
