Stormin Normandy goes wire to wire in the High Rock Spring S. at Saratoga!

Stormin Normandy made it two stakes wins in a row at the spa yesterday.

The son of Stormin Fever broke on the lead and carved out fast early splits of :22.1, :45.2 and :57.3. Already looking much the best turning for home he extended his three length lead through the stretch to over eight lengths at the wire in a hand ride from Cornelio Velasquez. Congratulatios to all his connection and best of luck with the upcoming campaign of this highly talanted colt!

Stormin Fever has being enjoying a stellar season in 2008, his daughter Whirlie Bertie in her first try outside of allowance company ran a strong 3rd in the Gr.3 Monmouth Oaks on 8-9-08 and looks like breaking through in stakes company in the near future. On the same day the talented Brilliant Son was also 3rd at the Spa in the $100,000 James Marvin S. for owner Jim Barry. Stormin Fever has currently sired 5 stakes winners to date in 2008.
