STORMIN FEVER – new Grade 1 Stakes Winner!

STORMIN FEVER, sophomore sire of 9 stakes horses.  Including: from his first crop, G2 winner in England HOWICK FALLS; and now a new G1 stakes winner STORMIN IRISH on Thanksgiving weekend, from just his second crop to race.

Grade 1 –  Agustin Mercado Reveron Stakes, 1 1/16 miles, at El Comandante.
Two-year-old colt STORMIN IRISH broke his maiden second time out and enjoyed two more wins at 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 furlongs before tackling tough stakes company.  Sent off the longshot here from the outside post he raced off the pace, moved up outside on the final turn and was all out to catch and clear the favorite, Triano, for a 1/2 length victory.

Stormin Fever had another 2YO stakes winner at Churchill Downs on Nov 20th.

Caressing Hcp, 1 1/16 Turf, $71,700.
Two-year-old filly SWEET TALKER, under the direction of Kenny McPeek, broke her maiden by six lengths at Arlington in mid september and enjoyed an easy victory in a Keeneland Allowance on Oct 29th.  Sweet Talker vied for the lead throughout against favorite Dynamist always keeping a head in front  – she switched gears at the top of the stretch and swept away from the field for a clear  3 1/4 length win in her turf debut.
