Star of Night rolled to an impressive 5 1/4-length victory in the Sylvia Bishop Memorial S. on Aug. 28 at Charles Town, giving Creative Cause his eighth stakes horse of 2020, the second-most of any Fourth-Crop Sire.
Star of Night was making her stakes debut on Friday following a double-digit length allowance win in late June. The 3-year-old gray/roan filly took the lead for good with about a quarter-mile to run and easily dispatched Boundtobebad in mid-stretch to win going away.
Owned by Huntertown Farm LLC, Star of Night has won four of six starts, with two seconds. She was bred by Heinz Steinmann and is from the same family as Grade 1 winner Snow Ridge.
