1 1/4m Grade 3 Turf event on July 13th – Sharp Impact, 3yo son of Siphon (BRZ), won wire to wire on Sunday and improved his record to four wins in six starts!
Under a brilliant ride by Richard Migliore, Sharp Impact controlled the pace then dug in for the impressive victory when challenged by Hidden Truth, the eventual 2nd place finisher.
The dark bay colt is owned by Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum and is trained by Kieran McLaughlin, who felt the move to turf was a good one for the colt.
