Unraced at two, Cure came onto the racing scene at Hawthorne at the end of March with a 4th place finish, then improved to second in his next outing in April going six panels. Moved to Arlington in May Cure was second choice here to break his maiden. Setting the pace from the inside he shook loose on the turn and held sway in the drive.
