OUT OF THE PARK: DIVINE PARK HITS A HOME RUN AT SEPTEMBER SALES- YEARLINGS BRING $500K, $385K, $260 ETC.

With 14 yearlings sold from 16 offered and an average of over $121,000, no young sire was hotter at this year’s September yearling sale than Airdrie Stud’s Divine Park.  With his first-crop 2yos generating major buzz, led by his graded stakes filly Dancinginthecircle, Divine Park started strong and finished on top at this year’s renewal of the industry’s biggest yearling sale.  His first filly to enter the ring brought a whopping $500,000 to Whisper Hill Farm’s Mandy Pope, and Book 2 saw more fireworks, with fillies bringing $385,000 and $260,000.  The exclamation point was added on the second to last day of the sale, when a magnificent colt brought $110,000 to top all Book 6 horses.

The best son of the late, truly great Chester House, Grade 1 Met Mile winner Divine Park continues to give every reason to believe that he has a major future at stud.
