OCTOBERFEST: THE AIRDRIE STALLIONS PRODUCE BIG NUMBERS AT FT-OCTOBER

Another yearling sale, another big results sheet for the Airdrie stallions.  Just as they had in September, yearlings by Airdrie’s young duo of Haynesfield and Majesticperfection generated major buzz around the Fasig-Tipton October sales grounds.  Majesticperfection, already enjoying an absolutely huge sales year that has seen his yearlings average $110,000 while producing a truly exceptional $100,000 median, was once again well represented at Fasig-Tipton as a knockout colt from the Legacy Sales consignment brought a final bid of $162,000.  A Top 5 freshman stallion on both the racetrack and in the sales ring in 2014, Majesticperfection’s future could not appear brighter.  Also growing a reputation of commercial success is Airdrie’s first-crop yearling sire Haynesfield.  America’s most profitable first-crop weanling sire of 2013, Haynesfield has enjoyed a standout yearling season as well, as he ranks #4 of all freshman sires- regardless of stud fee- in overall median.  Fasig-Tipton October proved no exception as he was represented by yearlings bringing $105,000 and $100,000 while going a perfect six for six on offerings/sold.  And finally, it was the Airdrie stalwart Include that also got in on the six-figure action, as a standout Gainesway offering attracted a final bid of $105,000, putting an exclamation mark on a big yearling year for the five-time Grade 1 producer.

Thank you to all the breeders that have helped make the 2014 sales season a big one for the Airdrie stallions!
