Nikki My Darling cruises in Queen City Oaks

Creative Cause’s accomplished filly Nikki My Darling tallied her second stakes victory on July 23 with a commanding six-length win in the $75,000 Queen City Oaks at Belterra racetrack in southern Ohio.

The outcome of Sunday’s 1 1/8-mile contest for 3-year-old fillies was never in serious doubt for Nikki My Darling, who went to the front early on, then opened up an insurmountable lead to coast home in a track-record time of 1:49.41 on a sloppy racetrack (VIDEO).

Nikki My Darling has won half of her 10 starts and has banked $181,533 for her owners Loooch Racing Stables and Imaginary Stables. She was bred by Sheltowee Farm and James Evans.

With two stakes winners over the July 22-23 weekend, Creative Cause is firmly trenched in the top 10 on the 2017 Second-Crop Sire list by earnings, winners, stakes winners and stakes horses.
