Dazzling Deelite quickly gained the lead and drew away in the stretch to win convincingly by 4 1/2 lengths at Calder in a 1 mile Turf race. The three year old chestnut filly is out of a Hansel mare and has now boosted her earnings to $49,420!
Her first win was at Arlington last August and with a move to the Turf, became a two-time winner. In 6 crops to race, Afternoon Deelites now has 209 total wins – – 25 so far in 2003!!
