Include’s veteran multiple stakes winner Net Gain switched to the turf for Saturday’s $60,000 Unbridled S. at Louisiana Downs and came away with an impressive 3 1/2-length victory (VIDEO).
The victory was his third added-money win in the 5-year-old’s career and upped his earnings to $323,587 for owner Greg Allen Johnson. Net Gain is one of Include’s nine stakes winners this year, led by Grade/Group 1 winners Samba Inc and Mishegas.
Net Gain came from several lengths off the pace with a bold four-wide move coming into the stretch, rolling by heavy favorite Big Changes to win going away in 1:41.76 for the 1 1/16-miles on the firm turf.
The winner was bred by Lane Thoroughbreds LLC and sold for $325,000 at the 2014 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in training.
