TASHA’S MIRACLE, a daughter of freshman sire HARLAN’S HOLIDAY, overwhelmed the field in the $150,000 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar on August 8th in her third career start. In a smartly ridden performance by David Flores the red bay filly proved she is a consumate professional registering a convincing 3 1/4 length victory in an easy hand ride.
Trainer John Sadler said Tasha’s Miracle, owned by a partnership of Syd Belzberg’s Budget Stables and Team Valor, now becomes a major contender for the G1 Del Mar Debutante in September with this stylish win.
She’s the second major stakes winner for Harlan’s Holiday who is rapidly ascending the freshman sire list for 2007.
