His perfromance in this past Saturday’s GIII Mineshaft Handicap at the Fair Grounds clearly established him as one of the top older horses in the country, as he overcame major traffic issues in the stretch to pull away from a top class field. The emphatic win comes only a few weeks removed from Believe You Can’s 10 1/4 length demolition of the Tiffany Lass Stakes in her 4-year-old debut- a performance that cemented her as one of the top older fillies in the nation. Both horses look to ensure that their sire, Proud Citizen, continues to be one of the industry’s hottest stallions for 2013.
