MAKING THE GRADE: ISTAN CONTINUES HIS GRADED STAKES RUN WITH ALBANO’S DEMOLITION OF THE GRADE III PEGASUS S. FIELD

Another weekend, another big performance from an Istan 3-year-old. This week it was his talented colt Albano taking center stage with his sensational score in the Grade III Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth on Sunday. Sent off the even money favorite based on his strong graded stakes form at the Fair Grounds, Albano proved he’s at the top of his game with a facile 6 1/4 length score in the local prep for the Grade 1 $1,000,000 Haskell Invitational. An Airdrie bred and raised colt and a three-quarter brother to the immensely talented multiple graded stakes winning Mark Valeski, Albano has established himself as one of the nation’s most exciting sophomore colts.

Istan now has a remarkable 25% graded stakes horses from his 3-year-old crop, and continues to represent one of the best values in the American Stud Book.

Airdrie could not be more grateful for the amazing training job done by everyone on the Larry Jones team with our exciting colt. Thanks goes to Kerwin Clark for another picture perfect ride. Thank you guys.
