LAVA MAN wins SUNSHINE MILLIONS TURF STAKES by 2 lengths and adds another $275,000 to his career earnings. The 1 1/8 mile test on the turf saw Lava Man’s dominating form of last year and Jockey Corey Nakatani said “Ive been riding for 20 years now, I’ve never seen a horse win all the major races in California including the Goodwood and win a Grade 1 on the grass. When horses are good, as this horse is, I think he deserves to be a champion.”
