Indian Charlie’s son Mr. Nightlinger continued his impressive form, taking this graded event on the Oaks undercard. After wiring the field in the GIII Shakertown at Keenland, the story was much the same here. The W. Bret Calhoun trainee broke easily and was settled on the lead by Jamie Theriot, in an opening fraction of :22.3. Mr. Nightlinger was then turned loose in the turn and shot away from the field in the stretch to win impressively.
