INDIAN CHARLIE’S DAUGHTER INDYANNE CAPTURES THE GR.3 THOROUGHBRED CLUB OF AMERICA S. AT KEENELAND.

With a little better racing luck, Indian Charlie’s speedy daughter Indyanne would still be unbeaten following her scintillating victory over older mares in the GIII Thoroughbred Club of America S. at Keeneland. Coming off an unlucky 2nd place finish in the GIII Victory Ride S at Saratoga, where she broke slowly before rushing up into fast fractions, Indyanne left little doubt Saturday that she is indeed one of the fastest 3-year-old fillies in training.

On Saturday, Indyanne broke alertly and went right to the lead under new jockey Robby Albarado, setting fractions of :21.77 and :44.54 through the half mile. She was challenged through the stretch by last year’s winner of the Grade 3 Thoroughbred Club of America S., but dug in tenaciously to fend her off and stop the clock in a scintillating 1:08 and change.

The win secured her spot in the $1,000,000 Sentient Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint; promising a much anticipated clash with Indian Charlie’s champion daughter Indian Blessing.

Congratulations to all the connections of this outstanding filly and best of luck with her upcoming campaign.
