Hip #163 – a bay colt by HARLAN’S HOLIDAY out of the mare THIRD STREET, sold at Fasig-Tipton Calder for $850,000 after breezing in 10.2.
The red bay colt was bred by Machmer Hall partners The Answer then purchased by Murray Smith as a yearling at Fasig-Tipton in July for $175,000, and the final bid at Calder went to John Ferguson for the Darley team.
Murray Smith said she loved everything about this colt, his balance, his class and his keen eye. We wish Darley every success in his racing career.
