Facing a full twelve horse field in an ultra-competitive Gulfstream allowance, Forest Camp’s talented daughter Yachats improved her record to a perfect 2 for 2 in drawing away to a near 3 length victory. An impressive winner in her debut at Aqueduct, the Todd Pletcher trained filly battled through a blistering :45 1/5 front end speed dual before pulling away late and finishing with plenty of run. With her score, Yachats becomes Forest Camp’s 6th repeat winner and appears an obvious candidate to add to Forest Camp’s two graded stakes winners and four stakes horses. A $125,000 weanling purchase for Aaron and Marie Jones, Yachats, under Todd Pletcher, seems to be a filly with a very bright future indeed!
