FLEET INDIAN PUTS EXCLAMATION MARK ON SENSATIONAL WEEK FOR INDIAN CHARLIE!

GIII Next Move Handicap
Aqueduct, 1 1/8m

Just a few days after Darley went to $1,000,000 for an Indian Charlie filly to top all fillies at the OBS 2yo sale, Fleet Indian reminded everyone why Indian Charlie has become one of the most marketable young stallions in the game.  Racing for the first time in 2006 and for the new connections of owner Paul Saylor and trainer Todd Pletcher, Fleet Indian needed little urging to overwhelm her opponents in the Grade III Next Move Handicap at Aqueduct.  She is part of what has been an extroadinary start for Indian Charlie in 2006, as his eight juveniles to sell this year have averaged a remarkable $403,000, with a $1.2 million colt and his $1 million filly.

Congratulations to owner Paul Saylor, breeders Becky Thomas/Lewis Lakin, trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Jose Santos!
