SLEW CITY SLEW’s fifth stakes winner from his 1998 crop of only 41 foals, DANCE THE SLEW (out of Dance Awhile, by Alleged) won the Marshua’s River Stakes on March 15th at Gulfstream Park. She led at the wire by 6 1/4 lengths after the 1m70yd race was moved off the turf.
DANCE THE SLEW was a $55,000 Fasig Tipton October yearling!
Also on Saturday, SLEWGIANA (out of Migygian, by Ogygian) won by 4 1/2 lengths at Turfway Park in a 1 1/16 mile allowance contest for 3 year olds!
