The winner is owned by the Joseph Morey, Jr. Revocable Trust. Friday’s win was the bay colt’s third straight win, all around two turns, after being uplaced in a debut sprint. Hush of a Storm has now earned $65,985. He was bred by Berkshire Stud.
Next up on the Kentucky Derby trail for Hush of a Storm at Turfway Park is the Jeff Ruby S. on March 27. The winner of the Jeff Ruby will earn 100 Kentucky Derby qualifying points.
Creative Cause, who is standing the 2021 season for $7,500, stands and nurses, will have his largest crop of 2-year-olds to date when the juvenile racing season begins this spring.
