AIRDRIE’S THREE FRESHMAN SIRES DAZZLE AT WEANLING SALES

Airdrie’s powerful freshman stallion lineup of Harlan’s Holiday, Proud Citizen and Yankee Gentleman all lived up to their advanced billing in leaving a lasting impression on the November weanling market.  All three were amongst the top 7 of all freshman sires in average (2 or more sold) for the Keeneland November sale!


Harlan’s Holiday– With individuals selling for $250,000, $220,000, 190,000, $160,000, $130,000, $130,000 and $100,000, Harlans’s Holiday was perhaps the toast of the Novmber sale.   


Proud Citizen- As expected, the Proud Citizen’s were extremely well received.  Individuals brought $195,000, $150,000, $130,000 and $100,000 in establishing Proud Citizen as one of the sale’s most sought after freshman sires.


Yankee Gentleman– Surprising no one at Airdrie Stud, Yankee Gentleman’s top class individuals had the sales grounds buzzing.  In averaging over $105,000 for his seven individuals sold, with a top price of $210,000, Yankee Gentleman was a top five freshman stallion by average for the Keeneland Sale (2 or more sold). In addition, his $160,000 colt at Fasig-Tipton was the single highest priced colt of any freshman sire at that sale!
