THE AIRDRIE GIRLS: INCLUDE’S SENSATIONAL INCLUDE BETTY IS THE LATEST GRADE 1 STAR FOR THE AIRDRIE STALLIONS

There’s a common theme that has developed in this year’s three-year-old filly division: The Airdrie stallions.  Atop the division sits the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes and Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks winner Lovely Maria.  Her sire?  Airdrie’s Majesticperfection.  The uncontested leader of the sophomore filly turf division is the brilliant, undefeated and Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup heroine Lady Eli.  Her sire?  Airdrie’s Divine Park.  And now, the triptych has been completed by Saturday’s dominant Grade 1 Mother Goose victor Include Betty.  Her sire?  Airdrie’s consistently top class Include.  With her customary late kick, Include Betty passed every one of her rivals en route to becoming Include’s sensational 7th Grade 1 winner.  It’s an amazing endorsement for the Airdrie Stallions and another feather in the cap for the widely respected Include who continues to build a resume befitting a truly important sire.

Congratulations and great thanks to the Lavin family, Airdrie’s co-breeders of Include Betty, our great co-owner, general manager and friend Tim Thornton and the sensational trainer-jockey combo of Tom Proctor and Drayden Van Dyke.  Thank you also and always to all of the staff at Airdrie Stud who are responsible for any winner that wears our orange and green colors.
