The immediate family also produced Ohio Derby (G2) runner-up and stakes winner Cherokee Artist (Cherokee Run).
Artistic Laney is the first winner out of Artistic License, who has a yearling filly by Complexity and produced a filly by Jimmy Creed this year.

His top performances came in the Woodward Stakes (G1) and Suburban Stakes (G2). He stands for $10,000.
