His latest star to surface on Dec 17th, in a $41,000 MSW at Aqueduct in the rain and fog, is JAGLANDER, first time starter for trainer Richard Dutrow, breaking from the 11 hole he took the lead on the turn and drew clear to leave his rivals in the murky fog and win by 7 1/2 lengths.
In addition Mazel Trick has a Derby hopeful in Bobby Frankel’s colt MAJOR SUCCESS who won at 1 1/16 miles in just his second start at Hollywood AND, also at Hollywood, MAZELLA broke her maiden by 3, running the fastest six furlongs of the day in 1:09 4/5.
