Bred by Brereton C. Jones, Hip #147, a chestnut colt out of a Carson City mare, brought the second highest price of the day at $500,000.
Bred by Nancy Shuford, Hip #27, brought the fifth highest price of $325,000.
Hip #27 had ripped through a quarter in :21 3/5 at the Under Tack Preview Show, which was the fastest work at the distance.
Also, Siphon is the sire of SIPHONIZER, rated at 119 lbs on the 2003 2YO Experimental Free Handicap!
