On Saturday 2/21 MAXWELL TERRACE made his first start in a 7 furlong MSW at Gulfstream. He faced a strong field including sons of AP Indy, Storm Cat, Forestry and Tale of the Cat and he prevailed in a fluid victory suggesting great things to come. He was a $300,000 Fasig-Tipton February two-year-old and our congratulations go out to trainer Todd Pletcher and owners Eugene and Laura Melnyk.
On sunday 2/22 Mazel Trick had two other maiden winners which took him to #1 on the sophomore sires list with 10 winners so far this year and progeny earnings of $233,754 in front of Forestry, Doneraile Court and Silver Charm.
