Stepping up to her first allowance condition on May 6 at Belmont, she won easily again going a mile this time, once more as the 2-5 favorite, coming home 2 1/4 lengths in front of rivals.
Bet down to 1-5 and going a furlong further, FLEET INDIAN stayed to the outside of a slow pace, passed the leader when shown the whip at the turn and powered away at the top of the stretch to win by 6 1/4 lengths. Lifetime record: 3-3-0-0 with earnings of $78,600.
