Stakes week recap for Indian Charlie

10/17/04 – LADY LUCK STAKES at Louisiana Downs.  1 Mile Turf, $50,000 for two-year-olds.
TOCHA – came third in this his first stakes try after breaking his maiden last time out a Louisiana Downs also on the turf.  Trained by Donnie Von Hemmel we hope to see more of this promising two-year-old.


10/23/04 – LOUISIANA BREEDERS S. at Louisiana Downs. 1 1/16 miles, $75,000.
DIGGY FRESH – came third here after three wins already this year. Trained by Keith Desormeaux his earnings go to $62,770.


10/23/04 – AHWATUKEE EXPRESS S. at Turf Paradise. 6 furlongs for 3YO fillies.
WIND FLOW — a two-year-olds stakes winner at Santa Anita and Fairplex (also 4th in both the G2 Sorrento S. and the G1 Del Mar Debutante) — this was her first start back in over a year.  She broke on top and stayed in position throughout, drawing off in the closing furlong to win by 1 1/2 lengths.


10/24/04 – ANOAKIA STAKES at Santa Anita. $85,350, 6 furlongs two-year-old fillies.
NO BULL BABY made a late move five wide and missed by just 3/4 to Hello Lucky; the pair were 5 lengths ahead of the third place.  The Bob Baffert trainee has four starts and earnings of $46,380.
