STORMIN FEVER’S GRADE 1 WINNING SWEET TALKER SETS A TRACK RECORD IN SENSATIONAL 2006 DEBUT!

$60,000 Dahlia Stakes
Laurel Park, 1mT 1:34

Sweet Talker, winner of Keeneland’s prestigious GI Queen Elizabeth Challenge Cup in her final start of 2005, stamped herself as one of the nation’s top turf fillies with a brilliant display in her 2006 debut.  Making her first start for trainer Graham Motion after being purchased for $1.15 million from the Keeneland November sale, Sweet Talker opened up effortlessly in the stretch to win the Dahlia in a track record time of 1:34 flat, leaving her new conditioner thoroughly impressed, “It’s pretty nice to have one like this.  She’s got a tremendous turn of foot…she’s push button.”  The Dahlia could prove just the beginning of a very special season for both Sweet Talker and Stormin Fever. An Airdrie bred, Sweet Talker’s dam, Another Vegetarian, has a gorgeous Friend’s Lake colt by her side!

Congratulations to new owner Courtland Farms, trainer Graham Motion and jockey Ramon Dominguez!
