Long the talk of the Saratoga backstretch, Include’s 2yo filly Panty Raid made her long anticipated debut a memorable one in destroying a top group of Saratoga maidens by 7 3/4 lengths. Trained by Todd Pletcher for Glencrest Farm, Panty Raid gained the lead after a quarter and simply ran away from the typically deep Saratoga field, winning under a hand ride. Following this performance, Pletcher was quick to point out that the filly will be pointed to the G1 Matron stakes at Belmont. Panty Raid’s victory followed closely on the heels of another of Include’s breakout performers She’s Included, who earned a trip to the G1 Del Mar Debutante by crushing her rivals by nearly 4 lengths in a tough Del Mar Msw. Panty Raid represents Include’s sixth winner, remarkable for a stallion who’s produce should get even better with time and distance, and demonstrates the enormous potential for this young Airdrie stallion!
