Emerging star Runway Rosie was stretching out for the first time and making her stakes debut after a solid win on the turf at Santa Anita last time out.
The pretty grey filly was held under a tight rein just off the early leaders through a slow half, she angled through a tight gap leaving the final turn and rallied between horses to take the lead midstretch and drew off for a 1/2 length victory.
Runway Rosie joins Grade 1 stakes horses Cash Included and She’s Included for this exciting freshman sire. So far training plans for Runway Rosie and She’s Included are pointing towards the December 17th Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet Stakes.
