Harlan’s Holiday two-year-olds close calls in Graded stakes.

9/9/07 – Grade 3, Natalma Stakes at Woodbine.


Nite in Rome, making only her second start for trainer Mark Casse, rallied from off the pace to be up for second in the $162,000 one mile turf test at Canada’s premier track.  Congratulatons to her owner Will Farish.
Record: 2-1-1-0, $72,265.


9/1/07 – Grade 3, Arlington-Washington Futurity.


Riley Tucker, a TDN rising star, narrowly missed in a photo to become Harlan’s Holiday’s 3rd stakes winner.  Previously 3rd in the Grade 2 Saratoga Special for trainer Bill Mott, Riley Tucker made an exceptional stretch run under Rene Douglas to gain the lead mid-stretch and just lost by a head bob from Wicked Style (Macho Uno) at the wire.
Owner Zayat Stables has big plans for this talented colt.
