Storming Normandy, trained by Richard Dutrow for IEAH Stable, put on a wire to wire show for bettors at Belmont on Sept 26th. The dark bay colt gained the lead after the break and was hustled out front by 3 at the quarter. The announcer said that Jockey Cornelo Velasques “didn’t move a muscle” and Stormin Normandy had complete control, cruising home by 9 1/2 “without breaking a sweat”.
