STORMIN FEVER’S MONSTER MAY ADDS TO HIS STRONG 2008!


An annual fixture on the General Sire List, the ultra-consistent Stormin Fever added to his strong 2008 with several promising winners in the month of May:


Whirlie Bertie: A dominant Msw winner on Oaks Day at Churchill Downs by 3 1/4 lengths, Whirlie Bertie returned with an effortless 7 3/4 score when facing winners for the first time at the historic Louisville track May 21st.  This filly continues to look a horse with a big future for trainer Steve Margolis.  Stay tuned…


Black Wolf:  The Stormin Fever colt made his 2008 debut a memorable one in dominating a Maiden Special Weight at Hollywood by an easy 3 1/2 lengths.  The effort was good for a sensational 97 Beyer Speed Figure and sent a clear signal that the Bruce Headley trainee is sitting on a very big year indeed.


Already the sire of 4 stakes winners in 2008 and the earner’s of more than $1.5 million, Stormin Fever’s strong showing over the last month also included Hollywood stakes winner Sangay, Japanese stakes hero Fusaichi Auster and the stakes-placed Air Lord.  His powerful May and rock-solid 2008 once again demonstrate that at $7,500, its tough to find a better producer of racehorses than Stormin Fever!
