PASSION RE-IGNITED: CANADIAN FRONTIER’S HILDA’S PASSION DOMINATES IN HER SECOND GRADED STAKES WIN

Canadian Frontier’s Hilda’s Passion, a Grade II winner at Keeneland last October, showed the Gulfstream faithful why she’s regarded as one of the nation’s top sprinting fillies with her domiant win in Sunday’s Grade III Hurricane Bertie Stakes.  Made the race favorite, the Todd Pletcher trained filly shot directly to the lead and never gave the first hint of coming back to the field in winning by an easy 2 1/2 lengths.  One of now 4 stakes winners from Canadian Frontier’s second crop that numbered only 43 named foals, Hilda’s Passion is just another example of the top quality horses that Canadian Frontier continues to sire despite never getting the large books of mares that many other stallions are afforded.

Congratulations to owners Starlight Partners and C. E. Glasscock and breeders Mr. and Mrs Theodore Kuster!
