CANADIAN FRONTIER DOES IT AGAIN: HILDA’S PASSION BECOMES HER SIRE’S SECOND GRADE 1 NEW YORK STAKES WINNER

Canadian Frontier has never received the large books of mares of many of his contemporaries, but that hasn’t stopped him from making a major mark at racing’s highest level.  Canadaian Frontier’s second crop, numbering just over forty mares, has now been represented by its second Grade 1 winner in the form of the brilliant Hilda’s Passion.  Always regarded as one of the fastest horses, male or female, in training this season, The Starlight Partners and C. E. Glasscock owned filly made a major statement on Travers Day, taking Saratoga’s historic Grade 1 Ballerina Stakes by nearly 10 devastating lengths.  This Grade 1 score follows the exploits of another Canadian Frontier daughter, No Such Word, who annexed the Grade 1 Gazelle Stakes in her last career start.

With 2 Grade 1 winners and a hugely impressive nearly 6% stakes winners/foals mark, Canadian Frontier continues to define himself as one of the best values in all the stud book.

Congratulations to Hilda’s Passion’s breeders, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Kuster, and to all her connections on this well deserved victory!
