A filly by leading Third-Crop Sire Creative cause brought a winning bid of $285,000 during Tuesday’s session of the March 13-14 OBS Two-Year-Olds in Training sale.
Justin Casse, agent was the winning bidder for hip No. 77, which was consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc.
The filly had breezed an eighth-mile in 10.2 seconds during last week’s Under Tack Show. She is the first foal out of Teacher Teacher, who is a full sister to multiple stakes winner Tilde.
Creative Cause currently ranks second on the 2018 Third-Crop Sire list, with Kentucky Derby (G1) hopeful My Boy Jack and Skyler’s Scramjet among his graded stakes winners this year.
