Second crop sire sensation Include, whose greatest racing successes came during his 4-year-old year, is once again impressing with his juveniles this year. Though always expected to be at their best with maturity and added distance, Include’s 2-year-old crop of last year left little doubt as to his potential at stud as his Cash Included took the Grade I Oak Leaf stakes in her second career start. This year, Include is once again demonstrating his versatility in siring top runners. Over the weekend, Include was represented by THREE stand out juveniles, headlined by ultra-quick daughter Hartigan. Sent off as the 4-5 favorite in the 6 furlong Gin Talking S. at Laurel, Hartigan did not disappoint, winning easily in an eye-opening 1:08 4/5.
On the other side of the country, Include’s impressive maiden winner Shore Do ran a top race to be a close up 3rd in the historic Grade I Norfolk Stakes at Santa Anita. Shore Do becomes Include’s remarkable 5th Grade I horse, towering him above all other 2nd crop sires in that department as Street Cry stands a distant second with 2 winning or placed horses at racing’s highest level. Include’s monster weekend was capped by the favored China’s Dragonlady’s impressive performance in breaking her maiden by 6 effortless lengths in taking a Msw at Remington. All three of Include’s impressive runners fit the description of the vast amjority of Include runners: The further they go…the better they’ll be! Congratulations and good luck to all of their connections
